Last month, several physicians from UB Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine presented educational information at the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) Annual Meeting. The 2013 conference was held in San Diego and attracted more than 1,000 physicians from across the country.
The American Medical Society for Sports Medicine is a multi-disciplinary organization of sports medicine physicians whose members are dedicated to education, research, advocacy and the care of athletes of all ages.

“The Influence of Concussion on Sleep Disturbance” (poster), presented by Fnu Seemant, MD, Andrea Hinds, PhD, Kenneth Wojnowski, John Leddy, MD, and Barry Willer PhD.
“Painful Left Groin Lump in a Disgruntled Athlete” (poster), presented by Fnu Seemant, MD and John Leddy, MD.
“Autonomic Dysfunction In Post-Concussion Syndrome Revealed During Exercise” (poster), presented by John Leddy, MD, Andrea Hinds PhD, Jeffrey Miecznikowski PhD, and Barry Willer, PhD.
In addition, John Leddy, MD served as a panelist during a research symposium.
