UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has announced that it will open a new location on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC) this May. All existing locations will operate as normal; this is simply an additional location.
on-site. Imaging services will be available in the Conventus building. The practice will share four exam rooms with UBMD Neurosurgery, which will begin seeing patients later this year.
Dr. DiPaola is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in orthopaedics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo (UB).
Dr. Marzo is a sports medicine physician and former Medical Director for the Buffalo Bills who specializes in sports medicine and orthopaedic care, focusing on problems of the shoulder and the knee. He is also a clinical researcher and a Clinical Associate Professor of orthopaedics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at UB.
“We’re excited to begin seeing patients at the new Conventus building and look forward to providing more convenient care for those with bone and joint problems who work or live downtown,” Dr. Marzo said. “Sharing a space with the other UBMD Physicians’ Group practices will be great for our patients.”
Both physicians will continue to see patients at other UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine locations — Dr. DiPaola at the practice’s offices on Harlem Road in Amherst and at the Summit Healthplex in Niagara Falls and Dr. Marzo at the practice’s offices on Harlem Road in Amherst.
