Rehabilitation Services

Rehabilitation physicians, or physiatrists, are medical doctors who have completed training in the medical specialty of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R). They are nerve, muscle and bone experts who treat injuries or illnesses that affect how you move. By taking the whole body into account, they are able to accurately pinpoint problems and enhance performance.
The job of our rehabilitation physician is to diagnose and treat any disability resulting from disease or injury. The focus is on the development of a comprehensive program for putting the pieces of a person's life back together after injury or disease.
Conditions commonly treated by physiatrists include neck and back pain, herniated disc, sports injuries, industrial and work injuries, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, concussion, brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, myofascial pain and chronic pain management.
