UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has announced that it will open a new location on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC) this May. All existing locations will operate as normal; this is simply an additional location.
Our new office is on the fourth floor of the Conventus building, located at 1001 High Street on the BNMC in downtown Buffalo. It will be staffed by Matthew J. DiPaola, M.D. and John M. Marzo, M.D.
Dr. DiPaola is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. A native of Western New York, and board certified member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Dr. DiPaola will continue to see patients at our offices on Harlem Road in Amherst and at the Summit Healthplex in Niagara Falls.
Dr. Marzo is a sports medicine physician and former Medical Director for the Buffalo Bills who specializes in sports medicine and orthopaedic care, focusing on problems of the shoulder and the knee. He is also a clinical researcher and a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He will continue to see patients at our offices on Harlem Road in Amherst and no longer at the University at Buffalo South Campus in Buffalo.
Our office staff will notify patients when appointments will shift to the new location. Medical records will automatically be available at the new location.
